ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT
Indian Spring Golf Course, Evesham Township, NJ
The Indian Spring Golf Course is a public golf facility owned and operated by Evesham Township and is an 18-hole facility with a driving range, practice green, and clubhouse grounds. Located in Evesham Township, New Jersey. The course has been undergoing internal renovations, according to a Rees Jones master plan to enhance the golf experience for the public golfer.
The Assistant Superintendent will work under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent in the daily operation of the golf course facility. This will include planning, scheduling, record keeping, course set-up, IPM scouting, training, crew supervision, pesticide/fertilizer application, irrigation set-up, and other maintenance practices to maintain the golf course to a high standard.
The applicant should possess a 2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management or related field. A turf certificate from an accredited school along with exceptional experience will be considered.
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working on a golf course as an Assistant Superintendent, 2nd Assistant or Spray Tech required.
Valid NJ driver’s license
Medical, Dental, Vision after 3 months. Uniforms supplied. Dues paid for professional associations. Expenses to retain licensing paid. 10 Paid vacation days, 10 sick days, 3 personal days, 15 paid holidays. Enrollment into the State Pension Plan.
Salary: $35,000 to $45,000 DOE
