Job Description

Riverton Country Club is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and hardworking individual to join our Agronomy Team as an Assistant Superintendent. Riverton Country Club is a member-owned private club that features; an 18-hole golf course, pool, tennis courts, full-service clubhouse, and bowling alley. Riverton Country Club was founded in 1900 and expanded to 18 holes in 1916 by Donald Ross. The club is currently in the process of completing a master restoration plan under the direction of Mr. Ron Prichard and Mr. Tyler Rae with the aim to restore the original Donald Ross design.


The Assistant Superintendent has a vital role at Riverton Country Club. The selected individual will attend and contribute to greens committee meetings, have full exposure to chemical application planning, irrigation scheduling, crew management, and cultural practice decisions.


The ideal candidate will have obtained a degree in turfgrass management or related field of study (will consider winter graduates), completed a golf course management internship, have the ability to obtain a New Jersey pesticide license. The ideal candidate will have experience with crew management, course set up, pesticide and fertilizer applications, and hand watering.
