Knoll Country Club, Boonton, NJ
The Knoll Country Club in Parsippany Troy-Hills New Jersey is a 36-hole golf facility with a 22-stall driving range. Built in 1929 by Charles "Steam Shovel" Banks. The Upper Knoll is considered one of the best public courses in New Jersey. It consists of the Upper West course and the Lower East course. Both clubs provide an excellent challenge for any golfer. The lower course was built in the late 1960's and Hal Purdy was the architect.
The Knoll Utility is looking for motivated individuals that love golf and love to work. We are installing a new irrigation system on the west course and hope to have it up and running by the fall of 2020. We look forward to your interest in the Knoll and hope to find energetic and dependable maintenance workers.
Examples of work:
*Performs a variety of maintenance tasks for the proper care of tees, fairways, roughs, and greens.
*Operates various types of power mower equipment to mow greens straight and true.
*Cuts roughs and fairways to designated height.
*Top dresses, spikes, and aerates greens.
*Changes the pin location on greens.
*Landscaping experience and the ability to run motorized equipment is a plus.
*A valid driver’s license.
*A high school diploma.
*The ability to obtain a New Jersey pesticide license and fertilizing license.
*Must apply for a CDL license upon acceptance.
*One year of experience in the care and maintenance of a regulation golf course a plus.
*Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
*Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties in this position.
